I could not be happier… You all did a great job for us, making our event a success. All of our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the meeting, and the venue. Nicely done!

My wedding reception was hosted by the wonderful team at the Currents Ballroom. The area was beautiful, everyone who attended my wedding commented on how when you first walked into the reception area how it took their breath away. Just the presentation of all the tables and how much care the staff took with setting the tables, the place was gorgeous. Not only do you have the floor to ceiling shark tanks, but you have the Philadelphia skyline and the Ben Franklin Bridge as a back drop that at night was amazing for my wedding pictures. By the end of the event planning, the staff had become my friends and it made me very happy that they stayed at the event to make sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend anyone to use Currents, the Ballroom at Adventure Aquarium, for any event they may want to have.

I cannot recommend the Currents Ballroom and all the staff enough! We had a small cocktail wedding reception but they didn't make us feel small! We had professional, expert, personalized service during the preparation and throughout the whole event. The room itself with its beautiful fish tank is breathtaking enough but the entire room was set-up perfectly. They listened to all our wishes and it was executed flawlessly. We were so happy and all our guests loved the event. Even the hors d'oeuvres we ordered were presented beautifully. There was staff onsite dedicated to our event the entire time so everything received attention. Staff was helpful and accommodating and truly cared about providing us with expert service. You can’t beat the location with its beautiful view of the Philadelphia skyline. I would recommend Currents to anyone planning an event.

I couldn't have asked for my wedding day to be any more perfect! My guests all had a wonderful time and commented that it was one of the best weddings they'd ever been to. There was so much to see both in the aquarium and outside by the river. The views were spectacular! This made for awesome photo opportunities!
The food and service were also top of the line. I appreciated how the staff guided the evening along flawlessly and allowed me to just relax and enjoy my wedding. I only wished the night wouldn't have flown by so fast!

We had our wedding reception at Currents Ballroom during the fall. I honestly can not put into words how pleased we were with the venue. Everyone in attendance was AMAZED with the beauty of the room and the professionalism of the staff. I could not imagine a more perfect place to hold a wedding reception. The view of the Philadelphia skyline was breathtaking and that alone would have been enough to justify choosing this place. Every detail was carefully planned and taken care of by the courteous staff at the aquarium. We had high expectations for our wedding reception, and this venue far exceeded our wildest dreams. We would without hesitation recommend having a wedding reception at Currents Ballroom to anyone, including our closest friends and family. This was an unbelievable experience for us and any couple looking for a reception venue should not look further, this is the dream location you have been looking for!

Since our wedding at Currents Ballroom, we've had several guests tell us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The staff at Currents was incredibly easy to work with and all very responsive to our needs. Any issue that we had, they took care of immediately. The staff went above and beyond to make the night as fantastic as possible. The food was amazing and the facility was beautiful!! The people at Currents were wonderful throughout the entire wedding planning process. We will absolutely recommend Currents to any bride or groom thinking about planning a wedding there. Thank you to everyone who made our day so very special!

We had a sweet 16 for our daughter Destiny on 1-16-10 and let me just tell you that it was absolutely phenomenal. The staff at Currents was very helpful from beginning to the end. We started out with Stacy, then we were assigned Alyssa and then we finished off the actual event with Brooke (sorry if i mis-spelled any names). Adda was extremely helpful the night of. These girls were great. They helped us with the floor plan and even made suggestions to our entry routines and DJ set-ups etc. It was a pleasant experience working with TRUE professionals! On the day of the party we experienced 2 minor set backs (DJ lighting and Extreme Bass-rattles the shark tank) but the staff was very accomadating to our requests and by the time the party started, we reached a mutual compromise and everyone was completely satisfied. Honestly... I was never worried, because I could tell from day one that these people genuinely cared about the outcome of my event and my total satisfaction was their number 1 priority. Thank you all for being so great at what you do.
While I am on this topic
I would like to add that Aramark also did a fantastic job with the catering portion of the party. Donna Sonday was extremely knowledgeable when preparing our menu. It was quite refreshing to deal with a true professional in her craft. She knew exactly what foods to serve the younger partygoers(buffet style) and what selections would best suit our (Sitdown) dinner portion. Her expertise in this field made our experience completely STRESS-FREE!
In final, Our party was a huge success, due to the staff of both of these organizations. I would highly recommend Currents Ballroom to anyone planning an event. Trust me... you will not be dissapointed.
